certified veteran fitness operative (CVFO) Program
Veterans who graduate from CVFO are some of the best personal trainers in the industry. Since this is not a paid program, we have an application and interview process to be accepted which you can begin at the bottom of this page.
FitOps' personal training certification is the industry’s first comprehensive training system based on scientific, evidence-based research. Classroom time is integrated with hands-on learning, meaning that our veterans graduate as fitness professionals who are not just CERTIFIED but QUALIFIED to train clients right away. This systematic and integrated (total body) training, reconditioning and rehabilitation program incorporates six components:
Leveraging the academic prowess of Carnegie-Mellon University's world class instructors, all of our veterans receive the highest caliber training on basic sciences essential for personal training. That knowledge--along with physical training in the military and each person's passion for fitness--form the foundation for the rest of the program. National experts in anatomy, exercise physiology, fitness industry leadership and sports psychology volunteer their time to give our veterans a world-class, hands-on education.

"At first I didn't know what to expect. It being a fully sponsored program you can always be skeptical against something, that sounds too good to be true. However, upon arrival I was greeted by such amazing and beautiful people that I found out a lot about myself, as well as a massive amount within the fitness community. You don't learn from just a "professional" in the field. You learn from THE professional who teaches the curriculum. It is well worth the time and effort. If you are a vet, or have a friend or family who is a veteran. Don't lose your opportunity to be apart of such an amazing family, that I now call my own."

"None of us knew what to expect when we showed up to FitOps on the first day. If you're passionate about fitness and looking for your sense of purpose again, I strongly advise you apply. You will find your home away from home."
